Nexus Secures Buses & The Metro This Boxing Day

If your heading to work or to visit friends & family this boxing day you needn't worry about expensive taxi rides as Nexus has secured 40 bus routes on boxing day and will operate the Tyne & Wear Metro.

Special timetables will run on various services across the Tyne & Wear area on various buses thanks to funding by Nexus and support from the regions bus operators. The secured Boxing Day services will generally run between 9am and 7pm. However, some bus services will start from 8am and run through until 9pm as some shops are open later this year.

In addition to this, the Tyne & Wear Metro will operate a Sunday timetable between 1000 until 1930
