New OK Way Service In Durham & Bishop Auckland

Starting Monday 23rd January 2012, three new bus services are being launched by Go North East in Crook, Durham & Bishop Auckland areas.

The 18 OK Way service will be a new local town service in Bishop Auckland, linking Bishop Auckland town centre, the General Hospital, Asda and Morrisons with the Canney Hill, Coundon and Woodhouse Close areas of town every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes. This service starts on 3rd January 2012.

The new OK1 service provides a direct link to Darlington, West Auckland and Bishop Auckalnd from Crook every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes.

Branded The OK Way, in recognition of the old OK Travel brand familiar to many in Crook these new services provide a direct service to Darlington and West Auckland every 30 minutes on Monday to Saturday daytimes from Crook.

The new Pronto X46 service provides a direct link between Crook and Durham at peak times Monday to Saturday and gives connections to other Go North East services from Durham to Newcastle, Sunderland and surrounding areas. MoneySaver fares on the new OK1 and Pronto X46 services

Fares on these new services are simple and good value. Cheap Day Returns are available on most fares and our range of Buzzfare and Get Around tickets will save customers money. The key smartcard is also available giving customers more ticket options and savings.

Darlington £4 single or £4.90 return
Durham £3.50 single or £3.90 return

The £19 Pronto Weekly Saver is available on the Pronto X46 to Durham and is valid on Pronto services X20/X21 giving connections from Durham to Newcastle and Sunderland.
