Stelios Rumoured To Launch New Airline Fastjet

It has been rumoured that easyJet founder, Stelios, has been planning to launch a brand new lowcost airline called Fastjet.

Sir Stelios has been in a long running dispute with easyJet, in which he and his family own 38% of the shares, over its strategy, aircraft orders, speed of expansion and returns to shareholders.

Stelios has bought web address www.fastjet.com which has a plain red screen with simple logo and the words 'by Stelios. Coming soon!'.

The airline is expected to operate transatlantic flights, competing with British Airways & Virgin Atlantic rather than compete in Europe with easyJet.

Fastjet is only one name being considered for the airline, Sir Stelios is also contemplating registering Stelios as a brand.
