The TravelNorthEast.co.uk Twitter page has been getting more and more followers recently and so we want to thank those who have followed us and those who re-tweet and promote us by running a special Twitter competition.

All you have to do is help us reach 500 followers by 1st January 2012 and if we reach that amazing milestone, all followers will be entered into a prize draw to win a 1-day Explorer North East ticket allowing unlimited bus & metro travel on most buses, the whole Tyne & Wear Metro, Shields Ferry & trains between Newcastle & Sunderland for 1 full day, a great way of hitting the January sales, beating the Winter blues or visiting the many attractions the North East has to offer.
