Stockton Christmas Lights Switch On

All Nippon Airways created travel history this week by flying the first dreamliner 787 passenger flight.

The legendary flight took place on Wednesday 26th October 2011 with a flight from Narita airport in Tokyo departing shortly after noon, arriving at Hong Kong just over 4 hours later.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has been awash with set backs and delays in the delivery of the aircraft to launch airline, All Nippon Airways of China but this week seen a change in the way air travel will be in the future.

Although the long-awaited amazing aircraft isn't in UK skies just yet, we only have to wait a little longer before we see flights above us with this fasinating aircraft as the UK's third largest airline, and UK's largest charter airline, Thomson Airways take's delivery of the 787 next year.

It's not yet known where the aircrafts will be or where they will go but I am sure we're all hoping that Newcastle can be on the cards in future for the Dreamliner.
