In-flight TVs For Easyjet

Low-cost airline, easyJet, is to start offering passengers the chance to rent handheld TVs to keep them amused during flights.

This will be the first time the airline has offered in-flight entertainment and the new TV sets will be available for rent by the cabin crew at a cost of just £7.50

The new service is in partnership with bespoke travel services provider Mezzo and will be pre-loaded with 'a range of blockbuster movies, TV programmes, music and games' on the Dell Android OS tablet TV/computers.

Selected flights from the UK will carry 19 of the devices, which fit into a single drawer of the carrier's in-flight kiosk.
