Easyjet Base Larger Aircraft At Newcastle

Easyjet are to base a larger aircraft at Newcastle International Airport due to increased damand.

Easyjet will increase capacity on the eight routes it serves from Newcastle after announcing that it will base a 150-seat Airbus A320 at the airport, replacing the existing 124-seat A319 that is currently serves Malta, Majorca, Paris, Bristol, Alicante, Malaga, Barcelona and Belfast. The move should mean up to 13,000 more passengers on its flights to / from the airport this year.
